Windows 8.1

Today I wanted to share with everyone, on a soap box if you will, that Windows 8.1 is NOT the crappy OS everyone wants to say it is. Confusing at first, yes. But new things have a habit of being confusing... this doesn't mean you shouldn't embrace them!

Just look at that screenshot. What else could scream "Paul Corey" like this can? There's so much ME going on there! Try doing that with Windows 7 or *shudder* Windows XP!

You can't!

Yes, this shows the "casual" users side of Windows 8.  But there is a wonderful power user side to windows 8 as well. Almost all the utilities have gotten a pretty solid update from even Windows 7, which was a monster for updating the basic windows utilities.

But I don't want to bore you guys with tech specs and power user nerdy stuff.  Just know that it's worth it, dare I say, even in an office environment!

*Stepping off my soapbox now.

--Edit--

Apparently, blogger has a hard time with the whole light box/image viewer bit.  If you want to see the larger image, right click and say "open in new window/tab" ... enjoy!
